What is an art party, you say? Well, it's a party...about art! On the first Friday of each month of the year, we open our doors to a new display from an area artist. We have drinks and light snacks, listen to some live music, and gather around the creations of our monthly visiting artist. Our sweet shop dog Lady roams around and gathers pets from all who stop in. We love it because we get to brush shoulders with all of you lovely people who make, support, and appreciate art.

Join us in November to celebrate the works of Morgan Everly! Morgan is a local artist and arts instructor from Rochester,NY. Working primarily in oil now (but historically in whatever sounds exciting at any given time).Her work explores the natural world through a personal lens featuring critters, plants, and objects from her many random collections. 

A firm believer that any act of creativity is a worthwhile endeavor, and that a creative life is something we are all capable and deserving of, she embraces experimentation over perfection. In addition to her studio practice Morgan works with children to create space for art exploration during the beautifully chaotic years of childhood.She takes great inspiration from her elementary and middle school aged students, and especially appreciates their willingness to get silly and try new things.

Morgan’s approach champions the wild, weird and the wonderfully personal, both in her own work and in the creative work of others.
