Inspiration for Bill’s work comes from many places including where he lives, works and plays. Living in the Finger Lakes region, near Lake Ontario and the Erie Canal system provides plenty of opportunities to view unique landscapes, architecture and technologies. Most of his summers have been spent in Northwest Montana with family in the cities of Whitefish and Libby. From either location, it's a short drive to great fly fishing on the Flathead and Kootenai Rivers, both with plenty of wildlife and spectacular, inspiring landscapes, anywhere one might look.
Bill’s work has been commissioned by clients including: Xerox, Mobil, DuPont, Holt Rinehart and Winston, Citibank, Federal Reserve Bank, Dunn and Bradstreet, Pfizer, Nalge, Time, Flyfisherman, Fly Rod & Reel, Habitat for Humanity and Fisher-Price Toys. His work has been exhibited in shows including the Society of Illustrators, Dimensional and Digital Illustrators Awards Show, American Illustration as well as numerous group and one man exhibitions.
