Dan DeZarn is an artist, educator and craftsman, living in Livingston County NY. Over the last 30 years his art practice has included large-scale sculpture, site specific installations, small and functional objects, sustainable construction, photography, and various two-dimensional processes.
This current body of work draws from his life living in the forest with his wife and kids. It combines layered elements of light, shape and color to reference the space of wooded environments and the fleeting beauty and shifting color relationships through changing conditions and seasons.
